Add a New Event

Use this form to submit new events to the NANJ Activities and Events Database.  Although your submissions will be immediately stored in the database, they will not be viewable on the events list until the website committee has verified the information, usually in about one week.
IMPORTANT - Please follow the instructions exactly! Items marked with a  +  are required.
For Event Type, select the description from the drop down box which most closely describes your event.

The Event Title is the actual name of the event, such as "Today We Live" (do not include the quotation marks).

Enter the Date of the Event. Use mm/dd/yyyy format, such as 12/5/2022.
+ Date
If the Event continues for more than one day, put the End Date here.
End Date
The Time should include the start and end times of the event, for example "2:00 PM to 7:00 PM" or "Noon to sunset."
+ Time
Here you can include an optional description of the event.  Be as detailed as you want.  Do not include directions or contact indormation here; you will fill that out later.
If there are fees associated with the event, please include details below.

Address information goes here.  Do not put directions here; they will be filled out later. If this is a virtual event, please put the word "Virtual" in Facility/Location. There is a place for a virtual meeting link further down on this page.

Select the Service Body most closely associated with this event. This information can be used by other websites, such as Area websites, to filter what they want to show on their site. Out-of-State events should leave this blank.

Put the sponsor of the event here, eg. "NNJRSC", "Central Jersey Area", "Welcome Home Group", etc.

If someone wants more information about the event, who should they contact? Please note that this information will be available on a public website. The NANJ Website Committee may also use this contact to verify the information provided on this form.

This field is used for Virtual Meetings or any other URL related to this event or the event's sponsor. 
Virtual Meeting Link / Website
If you have a flyer for your event, you may browse to it and upload it. Flyers must be in pdf format and less than 4 Mb in size. It is recommended you create flyers from the original editing aplication, not by scanning. If you need instruction on how to do this, feel free to write to recovery@nanj.org and ask.
All Done?  Press the "Add this Event to the NANJ Website" button to save your work.  If you do not press this button, the event will not be posted.
Please only hit the button once and be patient, especially if you are uploading a flyer - this can take a minute or more.
